The Riff Raff May 2020 Meet

May 13, 2020

The evening will be hosted by: Amy Baker - Riff Raff Founder, host of The Riff Raff Podcast and author of Miss-Adventures: A Tale of Ignoring Life Advice While Backpacking Around South America.

Our line-up for the evening includes:

Stephanie Scott, author of What's Left of Me is Yours - a gripping debut set in modern-day Tokyo and inspired by a true crime, which charts a young woman's search for the truth about her mother's life--and her murder.

Ben Halls, author of The Quarry - a collection of inter-connected stories about a group of men living on The Quarry Estate in West London, revealing the complex inner lives of individuals whose voices are too often non-existent in fiction.

Rosanna Amaka, author of The Book of Echoes - narrated by the spirit of an enslaved African, this is a searing debut about hope, redemption and the scars of history.

Louise Hare, author of This Lovely City - a Windrush-era crime novel that shows new arrivals have always been the prime suspects. But, also, that there is always hope.

Hazel Barkworth, author of Heatstroke - a darkly gripping, thought-provoking novel of crossed boundaries, power and betrayal, that plays with expectations at every turn.
